These two girls! :) :) :)

As I was going through my pictures I kept coming across pictures of Lane and Maelee and thinking that these girls just LOVE each other!... they are literally like two peas in a pod!...  these pictures really show their love for one another....  we are blessed that all our children have such great friends and thankful that the Lord has brought us all together!...  I think of that song with Maelee and Lane the one that says "friends are friends forever if the Lord is Lord of them!"  love that song and how it should reign true in all of our friendships!... hope you enjoy these as much as I did!

Macon Labor Day race 2011

This was a great day for the race in Macon... We started this race well on FRIDAY... Brother David, Angela, Doug and myself went down and stuffed over 2000 race packets with the Fox Fever entry forms... what a fun time that was, after that we went to Carrabas and had a nice dinner!.. ( I always say it is nice when I am not the one cooking LOL) really it was!... then Monday morning came and EARLY it was we left Griffin about 5:30ish!...  we had Lydia with us and the other crew (brother David, Angela, Doug, Myself).. we got to Macon and I think I was tired just from the drive :)  anyways, we ran the race as as usual I brought up the rear (which that is ok, my goal is to finish!) although I did beat my Peachtree time by 8 minutes!...  we jumped back in the car and headed back to Griffin, well, you MUST stop to EAT~~~  and Wendy's was sooooooo yummy!...  OH forgot to mention that Lydia got a BONSAI tree for being the fastest in her age group~!.... you GOOOO LYDIA.....  Fun day, fun friends, fun experience!!!!... do want to mention that I got passed by a man with a prosthetic leg!!!!!   oh well!... here are some pics

Dot on the calendar......

What a BLESSING it was a couple of weeks ago we had our new family life pastor over and his family!.. we were so excited because we had to find an "open" spot on their calendar.. Alyssa gave me a whole lesson about how they make plans, send request, and invite (of course I still probably got it all wrong in explaining) and all of this is on a PHONE....  I am sooooo not techno!.. but I will take all the lessons from them that they want to give!..  we had a GREAT night with grilled hot dogs (well some bigger than others), beans, slaw... good ole southern grill out~!..  the food and  fellowship was so much fun!...  I am now thankful to call them friends now!.. what a blessing they are to our church and Alexis has just LOVED Maddie!.. here are some pics

suprise.. picnic!!!!!

sometimes I feel as if I am in the "routine" and sometimes  I feel like I might just get a little to boring so last Thursday, i decided to surprise the kiddos with a picnic..I packed it and we headed to the car to pickup  Lane at school.. She got in the car and I said... hey lets go on a picnic... so we did..  I really want the kiddos to see me having a good time...  good for BOTH of our hearts!...  It was a BLAST!!!!   can't wait to do it again!
