I've got a FEVER..... FOX FEVER that is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well it is that time again, we are in the CRUNCH time of the Fox fever Race...  It is October 22,2011....  TIME IS APPROACHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well if you don't know what this FEVER is about let me explain:

Team Impact is excited to announce the 2^nd Annual Fox Fever Run for World Impact, scheduled for October 22, 2011.  Because of your generous support last year we were able to raise in excess of $11000 for our mission… MAKE DISCIPLES FOR JESUS CHRIST!

A few of the ways the money was used include:  (1) deploying a team of 3 missionaries to Guyana for 9 days where dozens of Guyanese Hindis renounced Hinduism forever and embraced the Gospel of Jesus Christ!; (2) sending a missionary to Ukraine for 9 days where literally thousands heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ, hundreds of whom made decisions for Christ and were welcomed into the family of God!; (3) funding several local missionaries to attend a conference on disciple-making in an effort to overtake our local community with world-impacting, world-changing disciples; and (4) providing curriculum for several visionary disciple-makers right here in Griffin employing them to partner with our Lord in creating the next generation of disciple-making disciples!

WOW......  AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!......  we hope that God will allow this race to raise more money for sending people OUT.....  we should have a GLOBEL vision!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..........

I had often thought about Lane and her free spirit which I LOVE, but as we approached Kindergarten I begain to realize that she had so much that she needed to learn and she really preffered to play and "take breaks" rather than look at school work.... well God truely has blessed me and given me a peace of who she is and her desire to learn..... she has done GREAT in school and has that DESIRE to learn and grow!...  let me never forget HE is the one who gives us the willing spirit....
Restore in me the JOY of your salvation and give me a willing spirit! Psalm 51:12

as most of you know the Lawrences have JUST really become cat lovers.  I have written a blog introducing you to Sharona welll...............................

so my first question was why is it so hard to tell on a cat??? well from what I am hearing it is kinda hard, so I guess some things are meant to not be answered :) 

second question was what will HIS name be???

It is official that "she"rona is "he"rona..sooooooo HIS new name is Stottlemyer!

Frog and Friends or Friends and Frogs

This was back in June... Lane had 2 of her friends spend the night so at dark we decided to go hunt for frogs, well really I didn't go but everytime that they caught a frog I would here "we got another one" of course I was excited so about 30 minutes later I go out and look at the frogs, I could not help but get the camera!... these girls had a blast.....  you can find FUN things to do CHEAP!!!!!   it was a great time that night!

This has been something that the kiddos look foward to EVERY year... moms pool opening up and swimming!.. we had a blast everytime... we didn't get up there as much this year because of Andrew and his age and we have just been so busy here in Griffin... here are some GREAT pictures!

meet...... Sharona

Lane is our biggest animal lover in the family!...  she just LOVES them....  we are more "dog"people in our family  BUT Lane is a CAT kiddo....  she can't get ENOUGH of cats...  she has been begging for one and so at Christmas time we got a cat for her ..  LILY well we had Lily for about 2 weeks and decided to let her explore outside and well you guessed it she ran away... SAD day in the Lawrence house... well 2 months later we caved again and got her another cat and this one was pumpkin.... well instead of boring you with those details we had decided we were a "catch and release center"... enough of that kitty stuff we decided until about a month ago.....  I had been telling Lane about this sweet kitten at airport rd park and I would see her EVERY morning and EVERY morning Lane would ask me did I see her and of course yes.., we tried and tried to catch her with NO luck... Doug and I talked and decided not only would we get Lane a tame cat but we would help out the Bresendines getting rid of one of theirs!.. soooooooo  here we go... SHARONA!!!!   she is tame... THANK YOU CAMILLE BRESENDINE!!!!!!  if you need a cat handler call Jen B!... she is a REALLY sweet adjusted cat, and Lane is too!



I really am back.... 2 months since the last blog!

Just reminding you all what the kiddos look like :) been a while!

Wow... the saying that the older you get the faster the time goes....  ohhhhh soooooo true! time flies too when you are having fun ....  I have once again remembered I have a blog, and again I have NEGLECTED it.....  thankful that the Lord is gracious in so many ways and I know he is in this one too! Well some of the things that we have done. Doug went to Guyana, Andrew had his 1st birthday, went swimming , big kiddos went to G and G, Alexis broken foot, Doug in Texas, Started school, Lane started Kindergarten, visited Clemson... and I am sure there is something missing But I might blog about that later...  oh well....  I am thankful to be back and can't wait to share all that the Lord is doing in the Lawrence Life!
